GoPlus is what it says it is: a token and address security API. Wallets, aggregators and dApps call it to decorate their interfaces with risk flags — and at that job, delivering machine-readable security data at scale, it is widely used and genuinely useful. This page is written for a different reader: the person holding the token, who needs more than a flag on a screen — a verdict they can read, an exit that has actually been simulated, and the wallet and market context around the trade.
DeepGyre launched in September 2026. It is not an API-first product and does not match GoPlus's integration reach, and we say so below. What it offers instead is a token scanner that runs reference security checks and — on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base — simulates a real buy and a real sell before calling a token safe, whale and entity tracking across 45 chains, a public methodology, and a Pro plan at $20 a month.

The reasons we hear most often fall into four groups:
If you are building a wallet or a dApp and need embeddable security data, GoPlus is likely the better fit today — that is literally its product. If the four points above describe your week, read on.
<h3>A verdict you can read — and defend</h3>
DeepGyre publishes the rules every figure follows on its Methodology page: sixteen rules, each with the measured cost of breaking it. The scanner's report is written for the person holding the token: every verdict carries its reason, and every refusal carries its reason too. When neither the simulation nor the reference checks could prove the exit, the verdict is "Sell not verified" — an honest hole, not a reassuring round. The honeypot checker page documents every verdict type.
<h3>The sell path, rehearsed</h3>
Reference checks read the contract. DeepGyre's token scanner goes further on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base: it simulates a real buy and a real sell against the token's own liquidity pool — nothing signed, nothing sent, a rehearsal on the current chain state. The sale is simulated a few blocks after the buy, so anti-bot rules that block same-block sells are not mistaken for a honeypot. When the simulation and the reference answers disagree, the report shows both — the disagreement is information, and hiding it is how confident zeros happen.
<h3>The context around the trade</h3>

A comparison that only lists our strengths is an advertisement. These are the areas where GoPlus leads today:
<h2>Who DeepGyre is built for</h2>
It depends who is asking. If you are a builder calling an API from your own app, GoPlus is purpose-built for that and hard to replace. If you are a trader or analyst who wants the verdict, the simulated sell and the wallet context as a product, DeepGyre is built for that job. See also the DexScreener alternative for the charting angle and the comparison of 7 Nansen alternatives for the labeling angle.
No. DeepGyre's Gold-plan API ($70/month, 50,000 calls) serves the platform's own maintained series — metrics, reserves, premium — not a token-security field set. If your app needs embeddable security JSON at scale, GoPlus is the better tool and this page says so.
DeepGyre's scanner runs reference security checks and, on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base, a simulated buy and sell. When the two disagree — say the code looks clean but the simulation cannot complete a sale — the report shows both results instead of averaging them into one flag. Disagreement is exactly when you want to look twice, and a single verdict would hide it from you.
It catches a class of them: contracts that look fine to a code reader but block the sell at runtime, or taxes that only apply in specific paths. It is not a guarantee — which is why the scanner also reports "Sell not verified" when the exit cannot be proven. Every verdict type is documented on the honeypot checker page.
DeepGyre has a permanent Free tier — 10 token scans a day, 3 alert rules, 5 tracked wallets — and a 7-day trial that opens every feature with no card required. Pro is $20/month. GoPlus has a free tier for its API with paid tiers on top; check their site for current numbers, and our pricing for ours.
Not for simulation. The scanner registry covers 45 chains with reference security checks; the simulated buy-and-sell runs on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base today. GoPlus's security fields cover a wider set of chains at the code level. Where we cannot test the sell, we say "not verified" rather than implying a check we did not run.
Yes. The whale tracker follows large transfers, watchlists track chosen wallets, and wallet histories flag forged transfers — the fake deposits address poisoners send to make a history look connected. Address risk is presented with the same doctrine as tokens: reasons shown, refusals named.
